PEX is an innovative Power & Energy eXchange that offers a more cost-effective non-wire alternative as a real-time solution for Distributed Energy Management System (DERMS) to incentivize each Distributed Energy Prosumer (DEP) to contribute to the electric grid’s resiliency:

- Blinkless®Microgrid with storage sited at the DEP gets an uninterruptible power supply UPS as a more reliable and secure autonomy for its operation in case of grid failure.

- This microgridcan be enabled to auto-reversethe power flows to the local distribution grid during 0,2-30 secswithin 1 cycle or 20 millisecs. deliveringan Enhanced Frequency Response (EFR) service.

- Adaptive Demand Response Services based on predictive analysis through Artificial Intelligence (AI) to more accurately forecast and rebalance energy generation and loads on all distribution grids. PEX is a blockchain-based Decentralized Management of Demand Response Programs in Smart Energy Grids featuring real-time mechanism for delivering transparent, secure, reliable, and timely smart contracts for energy flexibility, adapted to the energy demand profiles of each DEP with consensus from the specific stakeholders involved in the flexibility markets: ISO, LDC, retail DEP, aggregator, etc.

- Adapt smart contract incentives to non-emitting energy resources, Proof-of-Greentech transactive energy withcommercial, institutional & industrial facilities (C&Is) participating as distributed energy prosumers

- Cyber-physical secured 4G/5G communications  for fast speed, low latency, flexible deployment, better support) covering holistic IoT security of the entire platform as well as privacy of users. 

PEX reduces the electricity conservation barriers and oppurtunities, in particular real-time prepaid PowerCoins for settlement, as well as the innacuracies and difficulties of integration of significant variable energy flexibility services for grid resiliency by solving for:

- Electric grid instability (brownouts & blackouts) and power qualityissues due to higher peak-demand periods, aging infrastructure and unbalanced generation.

- Voltage and frequency variations (deviations standard 50 Hz, called "frequency excursions") while protecting damage to electro-mechanical equipment.

- Reducing the useof fossil-fueled peaking generators (non-emitting resources) as well as the gaz and diesel generators at the DEPs (C&I facility)  thanks to its security reserve.

- Operability of multi-directional electricity network enables rebalancing the local grids.

- Lack of real-time power and energy billing data at the distributed energy provider (DEP).
