EUROGIA2020, the EUREKA Cluster for low carbon energy technologies, is organising an Information and Project Pitch Session on 17 October 2018 in Madrid, Spain under the auspices of CDTI.

EUROGIA2020 is a launching new project call in 5 low carbon sector areas: Solar PVCSP windgeothermal and ocean in collaboration with the European Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan. This event aims to generate project ideas in the above - mentioned 5 low carbon sectors and help good quality transnational projects access funds in EUREKA Member and Associated Countries.

The European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan) aims to accelerate the development and deployment of low-carbon technologies in Europe. It focuses on low-carbon technologies with the highest potential to improve performance and bring down costs.  

The SET-Plan promotes research and innovation efforts across Europe by supporting the most impactful technologies in the decarbonisation of the European energy system. It promotes cooperation amongst EU countries, companies, research institutions, and the EU itself.

The SET-Plan has set ambitious targets and developed implementation plans that are now starting their execution phase mobilising national and European private and public R&I resources and capabilities.

EUROGIA2020 is the EUREKA Cluster for low carbon energy technologies. Its goal is to promote and support low carbon energy technologies with the aim of mitigating climate change.

EUROGIA2020 is a bottom-up, industry driven, market oriented programme which addresses all areas of the energy mix, from renewable energy to efficiency, and reduction of carbon footprint of fossil fuels. Since 2008, it has generated 43 low carbon energy technology projects representing 250 million Euros.
